Nestled in the hills of Kodagu, PAAMBUKALL is a family-owned estate built on generations of care for the land.
Coffee has always been at the heart of what we grow, but our estate has never been just about coffee.
Every season brings something different—pepper vines climbing old trees, fruits ripening in the orchards, spices, flowers, and ingredients that inspire us to create beyond the farm.
Nestled in the rolling hills of Kodagu, Paambukall is a place shaped by misty mornings, monsoon rains, coffee blossoms, pepper vines and the quiet rhythm of estate life.
It has always been more than a coffee estate. It is a place where nature rewards patience, and every harvest tells its own story.
We believe an estate should offer more than harvests.
It should tell stories through the things it makes.
From specialty coffee to handmade foods, baked goods, seasonal preserves, gifts, and carefully crafted products, everything begins with the same philosophy:

Long before it appeared on a package or a label, Movaka was a name spoken with affection within our family.
Its roots lie in a simple word from our language—“Mova,” meaning daughter. What began as a loving nickname for our infant daughter gradually came to represent something far greater than a single person.
Hidden quietly within Movaka are two initials that mark its beginning: “Va” for Varun and “Ke” for Kaveri.
Today, the name has grown beyond its personal origins. It represents a promise to create thoughtfully, honestly and with care.
Movaka was never imagined in a boardroom.
It was shaped by walks through coffee fields after the rain, by conversations beneath old trees, by the aroma of freshly baked bread, by baskets of pepper drying in the sun, and by the changing seasons that continue to shape life at Paambukall.
The estate is more than where our products are made.
It is where ideas begin.
It reminds us that quality cannot be rushed, that craftsmanship deserves patience, and that the most meaningful things are often created slowly.
